As we were staying at the Falksteiner Hotel Adriana we were fortunate enough to be literally 100m from the beach.
Warning: this post may induce severe wanderlust and contains many beautiful photos!
So we grabbed some cocktails from the bar, slipped out of our beautiful resort and found a quiet spot on the beach.
I spent quite a long time just staring at the waves, watching them crash on the beach…
I was absolutely mesmerized by the colours – not a single one of these photos are edited in the slightest way, this is honestly what we saw!
Pretty magical isn’t it?
As we were just starting our evening, it was clear that other were heading home for the night as they had finished their day’s fishing.
Just as the sun was slipping beyond the horizon, the colours changed entirely, and everything was basked in a warm pinkish glow.
We were far from the only people admiring the view, but we were pleasantly surprised that it was exceptionally quiet and a really peaceful end to our day of lazing by the pool
And all too soon, the sun had gone from the horizon.
And we were left admiring the beautiful scenes it had left behind.
What an absolute dream of an evening. If you stay at the Falksteiner Hotel Adriana I’d highly recommend slipping out one evening with a cocktail in hand, to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen.
