I became a little obsessed with frozen cocktails when I was in Croatia, they’re just so refreshing and delicious – anyone else like this?
So I grabbed myself a frozen daqueri and we found a seat on the outside wooden wall to sit, sip and enjoy the sunset.
If you’ve ever been to La Folie Douce for apres-ski and enjoyed it, you’d love Hula Hula – just instead of apres-ski it’s apres-sea!
There were some people who had obviously had a daqueri or two more than I had and soon we turned round to see this…
Yes, he did just ride his bike into the sea – and don’t worry, no bikes or humans were hurt in this stunt.
My friends were right – this is definitely the place to watch the sunset. Grab yourself a spot right at the edge, as when the time comes you really don’t want to be taking your very Instagram worthy snaps with a whole lot of people in front of you.
Just to give you a little flavour of what was going on (and how busy it is!)…
Fair warning: the pitchers of cocktails are wickedly strong – but oh so delicious. OH so delicious. And moreish.
Not content to be outdone, someone else hopped on a bike and decided to race into the sea, much to the amusement of everyone around.
Oooops. Top tip – if there’s a passing boat, stand back from the edge or you’re going to get well and truly soaked!
You can party well into the evening at Hula Hula, but after a few drinks, I won’t lie – Andy and I were starving and wanted to head off in search of food!
Another beautiful sunset and a real must for all Hvar visitors. We weren’t big party goes when we were in Hvar, and instead preferred to go to BB Club, but even if you’re not in Hvar to party – Hula-Hula is an experience you shouldn’t miss.
Even if it is to watch people ride into the sea and drink delicious cocktails!
