And then suddenly, with a cry of “Look!” from Lib, we realised what the hoop in the centre of the room was for! Excuse the slightly blurry photos, I couldn’t adjust my camera settings in time!
He was swinging away, having a merry old time, whilst the Wonderlanders below watched on, cocktails in hand.
No version of wonderland would be complete without the Queen’s Maze and some Flamingo Croquet would it? So we raced up the stairs to see what was in store!
We wished the Flamingo Croquet had been slightly larger, but hey, when space is at a premium something’s got to give, eh?
So we followed the lovely Mr Walrus into the maze to see what was going on there! Frankly, this was absolutely hilarious – he was as confused as always and bubmling around muttering that he’s sure there’s a short cut, that ends up taking you straight back to where you were. It’s so great that they’ve really gone all out for this one.
Cause who needs just another bar, eh? Well, I’m always keen for a fresh, new bar – especially a themed one with Bourne & Hollingsworth designing the cocktails.
Prepare yourself to meet some very fun characters!
We also indulged in a pie (which are really very well priced) at the Pieminster pie bar and boy oh boy was it good. Just what we needed! Though the only downside was, there’s a bit of a lack of seating so we had to try and perch and eat. Hmmm, not too easy.
