I think Tuesday-Shoesday might just be the best day of the week – especially when a gorgeous pair of Butterfly Twists ballerina flats pop through your letterbox!
Don’t you hate that shoes take up so much room in your suitcase or your weekend bag? Living between Suffolk, London and various weekend breaks at the moment I’m seriously appreciating the art of light packing, and especially items that make light packing easier!
Enter Butterfly Twists folding ballerina flats..!

Wasn’t the weather yesterday just glorious? I spent most of the day in the garden sunning myself and reading – it was wonderful!

And so I didn’t think my day could get much better until my postman popped these babies into my house!

I adore a classic shoe – and well, anything that involves navy blue – and so these Olivia flats were literally screaming my name. When I was asked to choose a pair of Butterfly Twists ballerina shoes there was only one option for me.

And honestly, these babies are so comfortable; I’m usually the worst for picking shoes that give me the worst blisters in the summer, but I know that these shoes really are good for anytime anywhere, and that they won’t hurt me.

I even spotted Mr Sandy Dog eyeing them up and wondering if folding dogs’ shoes are available yet (I don’t think so but a dog can hope, right?)

I love how simple, classic and beautiful this pair are; the quilted design makes them feel so luxurious, and I think they’re very Chanel-esque.

Even the little branding detail at the back is classic and understated and frankly, you’d barely notice it if you didn’t want to – but I happen to think that it adds something unique to these already stunning shoes.

Yesterday I paired these babies with a really casual outfit: 7 For All Mankind Jeans, and an ASOS Bardot Style striped top, Ray Bans and my Aunt Sponge Necklace
But, in keeping with the anytime anywhere philosophy of these shoes, I know I’ll also be wearing them with my new favourite evening dress. Who says you need to wear uncomfortable heels with an evening dress? Not me!

And if I haven’t made enough of a fuss over these shoes yet, not only are they beautiful, practical and comfortable but they’re also beautifully packaged. They come in such a cute little box, and with a dust bag which is perfect for travelling.

Seriously, could these shoes be any cuter?!

I really don’t think I’ll be taking these lovely little ballerina flats off all summer. Comfort and style: they have my name all over these!

My Butterfly Twists shoes were complementary, but all gushing opinions and images are my own.

  • These are so very, very cute – perfect for travelling!

  • They're just adorable aren't they? I can't wait to go to pack them and not have to fight with them..!

  • I've seen these in the Philippines and Singapore but never really given them much thought. Come to think of it, they're actually quite convenient for travel and they're quite stylish too!

  • I've been thinking of getting these for a while as I always have that classic case of heels during the day and then MAJOR regret late at night!

  • They should definitely make a canine version for Mr Sandy Dog 😉 Great photos with the "No Snails Allowed" and the butterfly shoes, Lauren
