8 Luxurious Ideas for Girls’ Night in London

Sometimes in London there’s such a thing as too much choice… When you’re looking for ideas for what to do for girls’ night in London it’s almost a case of not knowing where to start as there are so many amazing restaurants and bars. So here’s my favourite spots for drinks, great food and the perfect girly day!

London can be a difficult place to move to, especially when it comes to making new friends. Badoois a great app for finding people with similar interests. But once you’ve met friends on Badoo, here’s where you should go to take that friendship out of the app and into London!

1. Afternoon Tea or Drinks at Dalloway Terrace

Dalloway Drinks-5

Regular readers will know that this summer I’ve completely fallen in love with Dalloway Terrace. It’s the most beautiful spot for drinks or afternoon tea.

I don’t think there’s a friendship that can’t be cemented with champagne and cake!

2. Cocktails at Mr Fogg’s Residence (or his Gin Parlour!)

There’s something about celebrating new or old friendships with a toast and a wickedly good cocktail that always screams girls’ night to me. With that in mind I love heading to Mr Fogg’s Residence in Mayfair or his Gin Parlour above his Tavern in Covent Garden for some of London’s best cocktails. I adore the Trans-Siberian Express champagne cocktail at Tavern, it was the best way to toast my birthday with Colleen and Angie!

3. Sashimi Pizzas and Wine at Kurobuta’s Bottomless Brunch

Kurobuta-2

Kurobuta has been on my list for a long time, and I was really excited to try their bottomless brunch this weekend. I was catching up with an old friend who I hadn’t seen in years and whose only request was that I book a sushi restaurant – now that I can do!

For bottomless wine and all the food you can eat, Kurobuta Marble Arch is a steal at just £35 per head. There’s something magical about a bottomless brunch with the girls!

4. Champagne at GONG at The Shard

Perfect not just for a date night but also for girls’ night, GONG at The Shard is one of London’s best bars – and comes complete with one of the most spectacular views of London. Toast your evening with champagne or one of their amazing cocktails and laugh long into the night. Make sure you arrive before sunset to really experience the magic!

5. Dinner at ROKA… Lunch at ROKA… Brunch at ROKA…

It’s safe to say that ROKA is a solid favourite of mine, for any meal or any occasion. I love relaxing with friends in the company of some of London’s best sushi and sashimi. Head to ROKA Aldwych for their bottomless weekend brunch or ROKA Charlotte Street for a luxurious lunch or dinner.

6. Indulge in Afternoon Tea at The Dorchester

If you’re looking for something for a chocoholic who loves a little luxury, there’s nothing better than the chocolate indulgence afternoon tea at The Dorchester. Colleen and I spent the most amazing girly afternoon here celebrating our friendship with lots of chocolate and champagne.

It’s hard to imagine a better place for a girly celebration!

7. Drinks at The Polo Bar

If it’s a more traditional bar that you’re after I love the Polo Bar at The Westbury Hotel. Not only is it perfectly located for some post Regent Street shopping cocktails, but the cocktails and the nibbles are amazing. And you needn’t worry about having to share cocktails as each cocktail is served with a mini version for your friend to try – ideal!

8. A Secret Visit to Bart’s

Barts-1

Finally, you’ve got to try Bart’s at some point, but shhhh, it’s a secret! I love this luxurious speakeasy for wickedly good cocktails, lots of fun and an all round amazing night. Hidden away in Chelsea it’s not the easiest to find but that makes it all the more fun when you get there!
