Although I’d been before and had The French One (excellent and I’d highly recommend it), when I went back with my camera I knew there was only one option: The Eggs Benedict-ish. Ish I hear you say? Why ish? Well, their crumpets are homemade and based on a sourdough recipe – revolutionary and frankly, utterly delicious.
Beautiful hollandaise sauce, perfectly cooked eggs and delicious bacon (though I wouldn’t have minded an extra slice). The crumpets really were the stand out highlight – I don’t think I’ll ever go back to regular ol’ crumpets!
