I’ve been a little MIA recently; life has a terrible way of catching up with me when I’m getting into the swing of a regular blog schedule! I wish I could tell you I’ve been MIA because I’ve been doing so many exciting things, but the reality is that I’ve mostly been writing essays for my degree (just a few more weeks left now – yipee!).

So I’m going to give you a very quick catch up with what I’ve been up to in the last week or so in this little photo montage. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll have seen a lot of these photos already!

This little beauty is an amazing find! The girls have found this amazing bagel place in Rennes which is just as good as it looks. This little slice of heaven had cream cheese, parma ham, sundried tomatoes, lettuce. Oh yes. I’ll be going back there.

Rennes has been looking utterly gorgeous in the sun (apart from today, boo). For a change I’ve not had to bundle up in as many layers as I can find, but instead have broken out my new 7/8 jeans (which I’m totally in love with! Many a post to come on these I can assure you!)

I finally burnt the last of my White Company Winter candle a few weeks ago, but came back with a very nice little addition to my room – one of their Pomegranate candles! It’s the dream, if you haven’t had a sniff of it yet, I highly recommend that you try it out!

I’ve also become rather inventive when I run out of vases!

I’ve discovered espresso martinis. To die for. And at a new bar we’ve been wanting to try out!

After dinner at an old favourite! It’s a place I keep meaning to do a post on, but I always end up having so much fun whilst I’m there that I never take enough photos to blog about it. Next time, I promise.

I’ve obviously been back to Marché des Lices on Saturdays to do my weekly shop and to pick up some gorgeous tulips; it really does feel like spring has sprung!

Confession time: I’ve already finished Season 3 of House of Cards. Ooops. And may have had a few glasses of wine to go along with it!

Finally, I was greeted by my lovely flatmate with this amazing salted caramel muffin. Oh hello. Don’t mind if I eat this all over again to be honest…!

I’ve also been lucky enough to be nominated by Polly for a Liebster Award, so I need to get writing a post for that! If you’ve not read her lovely blog Follow Your Sunshine go and give it a read!

So there you go, a very brief round up of all the fun things I’ve been up to in the last few weeks  – but now back to work I go!
