At various points throughout the day the staff bring complimentary bottles of water and fruit for everyone to nibble on and re-hydrate; a touch that I really liked.
Also there’s no need to worry about not getting a sun lounger as there seemed to be more than enough, even though the hotel was fully booked when we stayed.
Now, just look at that beauty, and let me take you on a little tour of the pool…
You arrive from the hotel to find this exquisite T shaped pool, surrounded by sun loungers, both in the shade and in the sun, and all complete with parasols.
On one side of the pool are three water jets, spraying water once every few minutes. They make a pretty great place to get a back massage or just to try and see how long you can stand up for!
The other side of the pool has an in-built Jacuzzi, the edges of which you can just see in this photo:
The perfect place for a cool down before you reheat in the sun with a cocktail and a book (or in my case a Kindle as I read viciously fast)!
The pool closes at 7pm; soon before this we’d slip up to our room to shower, change and enjoy some sparkling wine on the balcony before dinner. A pretty perfect set up if you ask me.
I couldn’t resist attempting to stand underneath these jets more than once – to varying degrees of success!
Okay, so I wasn’t great at keeping my balance!
So I’d usually retire to the Jacuzzi to enjoy some more relaxing bubbles!
We honestly spent hours and hours by the pool, sunning ourselves, relaxing and enjoying the heat.
Also, this bikini is now my favourite in my wardrobe: it’s such a flattering cut and it’s a really fun pattern and shape. Best bit? I’ve got you a 15% discount if you use the code FABCOLLAB15 on Khongboon Swimwear – you’ll love them!
The best bit about an adults only resort is that it was so peaceful: although there is a family resort right next door, the atmosphere is entirely different, with a really relaxed vibe throughout the hotel and pool area.
